Hey! From helping ambassadors, film producers, and government officials to improve English for work, to teaching younger learners to be confident with English and pass exams, I've always helped my students develop a sense of curiosity about subjects and the world, and to help build their confidence and desire to study. I love integrating performance, role play, challenges and real life case studies in my lessons, so that my students not only develop their English skills, but also see how language can be used to get ahead in the wider world.
Over the last 15 years, I've lived in many countries, with roles including being a teacher with the British Council and International House, training teachers, managing schools and summer camps, and helping develop an education startup. I've seen and learnt a lot along the way, and would love to invite you to join me on my journey, so we can learn together :)

I have spent over ten years working in international study programmes and global education, with long-term experience across both the UK and China. This has given me a practical understanding of how different education systems operate, as well as how international programmes should be designed and delivered in reality, not just in theory. I have a deep understanding of the expectations of Chinese parents and the learning characteristics of Chinese students. I am particularly skilled at using creative thinking to guide, inspire, and engage learners, helping them move beyond passive participation towards active learning and self-expression.
